Our Story of Faith and Community
Faith Church’s journey has always been rooted in a desire to serve, grow, and impact lives. From humble beginnings as a house church in 1878 to the thriving community we are today, our story is one of dedication and vision for the future.
The Early Years
A House Church with a Vision
Faith Church began in 1878 as a small home gathering, driven by the vision of creating a place where faith and community could flourish.
The 1924 Vision
Building a “Work of Grace”
In 1924, Faith Church established its first building on Magnolia Street. Guided by Pastor John Coleman’s call for a “work of grace,” this space allowed us to deepen our impact in the community.
1979 and Beyond
Growing with Our Community
In 1979, Faith Church moved to Lake Lansing Road, expanding our ministry to better serve our growing community and continue our mission.
State Road Property
20 Years in the Making
In the early 2000s, Faith Church purchased land on State Road, anticipating future growth. Now, the Imagine Campaign brings this vision to life.
